Greetings SWW@ Francis Stevens Community,

Welcome to SY 2023-2024!  We are excited to welcome our returning and incoming families to another phenomenal year at School Without Walls at Francis-Stevens located at the former Banneker Senior High School swing space, 800 Euclid Street, NW.  We are “Tiger Proud” to announce our primary site renovation completion by Summer of 2024 and thrilled to return to our Ward 2 community.

This will be a spectacular school year, unlike any other, as we plan to ensure that our institutional core beliefs remain at the forefront of our thinking that, “Everyone is a Learner, and Every Experience is a Learning Opportunity.”

We will reiterate our commitment to excellence in all that we do, as we seek to provide high-quality instruction and address social-emotional learning, with the expectation that all students will learn, grow, and succeed in a safe and inclusive learning environment.

The communication connection between home and school will be encouraged and implore all families to become active members of our Home School Association (HSA).  We are a strong, united community that is willing to go the distance for each other and the students we serve.  Your engagement will be highly encouraged, and we hope to see you on campus for our academic and extracurricular social events.  

We are excited about everything this new school year has to offer and look forward to working collectively to ensure that all students are provided with the best educational experience possible.  It’s going to be another incredible year.  We can’t wait to see you!
