Please join the School Without Walls at Francis-Stevens HSA – this is one of the easiest ways to support SWWFS and to add value to what goes on in our classrooms! Membership dues support extracurriculars, special programs like FoodPrints, classroom materials, field trips and access to neighborhood institutions like the Kennedy Center.
A portion of your membership dues are allocated to your student’s grade level and made available to home room teacher(s) at that grade level.
$90 for one PreK student
$150 for more than one ECE student
$75 for one K-5 student
$125 for more than one K-5 student
$75 for one 6th-7th grade
$120 for an 8th grade student (incl. end-of-year events)
All donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Our EIN is: 47-1456976.
Donate/Pay dues Online – It’s easy and secure!
No family will be excluded from the HSA due to an inability to pay the suggested dues, though paying dues is a requirementfor voting in end-of-year officer elections and we desperately need your dues to promote and maintain the activities that make this school great! If you can give more, please do!
Why are ECE grade dues higher? SWWFS is a Title I school. Federal rules forbid teachers in ECE grades from soliciting funds for field trips, etc. The HSA serves a repository for funds those teachers can tap to enhance your student’s experience.
Why are 8th grade dues higher? Different grades have different activities. 8th graders have activities that are much more expensive (i.e. graduation activities etc). These fees go directly to items the HSA supports that the end of the year.
