Welcome to the School Without Walls at Francis-Stevens! Here we embrace our students and families as partners in developing a community that believes in quality education, a sense of service to others and the ability to succeed no matter what challenges may be in the way.
As you walk through our doors and explore our classrooms, library and other rooms, what you will see is engagement in education and self. Our students are inspired by staff to rise to the occasion each day and are drivers of their success. The city is their classroom, field trips are plentiful, guest speakers and auditorium events constant; and integration of technology and innovation is leading the way.
SWWFS’ HSA goal is to support the vision of the administration and staff through monetary needs, volunteerism, outreach and development with the broader community and elected officials ensure. These stakeholders ensure that every student in our school is getting the education they deserve.
In doing so we:
- Increase our partnerships among home, school, and the broader community;
- Support the mission and vision of the entire community
- Establish effective communication methods with administration, staff and parents
- Continue to implement programs to support and enhance the educational experience
- Establish a school culture that values diversity and builds a sense of community among all stakeholders
